Message-ID: <9929@uwm.edu> Date: 5 Mar 91 05:51:52 GMT Sender: news@uwm.edu Followup-To: alt.sys.sun Distribution: na Organization: UW-Milwaukee Computing Services Division Lines: 15 Originator: dave@convex.csd.uwm.edu I missed a chance to buy a used 3/60 a couple weeks ago, based on my decision to go buy a 386 or 486 sometime also in the future. One reason I would want to go ahead with a *86 box would be for some kind of dtp software. I guess my question is, if I did get an older machine like the sun, are there versions of FRAME or other wysiwyg word processor/typesetters that I can afford for such a platform? I know, I know. I should learn TeX or troff. Icky poo. -- Dave Rasmussen - Systems Programmer/Manager, UW-Milwaukee Computing Svcs Div.
