I had some trouble, until someone wrote to me, mentioning the /usr/local/lib/thesaurus file. Now no system I have access to has such a file, but the person in ques- tion said the file was a part of the standard installation at his site. The file apparently contains lines having the format - word(part-of-speech)synonym1,synonym2,...synonymX. Where might this file have originated? Anyone know? Is it PD? The person who contacted me did not know. -Richard
