I am trying to set up a test where a 386 running some UNIX (At this point I'm not very picky about which vendor) would be able to exchange TCP/IP packets over X.25 with our Pyramid 9820. Important applications would include such things as telnet and ftp. File sharing via NFS would also be nice but I doubt if I'll have the throughput to make it reasonable. We already have the X.25 hardware and software for the Pyramid. What I need is a list (including pricing) of hardware and software for the 386 machine? (X.25 interface board, X.25 pad and TCP/IP encapsulation software, other network software) Also, any experiences with such an arrangement would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance. -- Matt Hulthen # ..!uunet!telxon!matth | telxon!matth@uunet.uu.net Telxon Corporation # 91 Springside Drive # Akron, Ohio, 44313 #
