Message-ID: <36990003@hpopd.pwd.hp.com> Date: 5 Mar 91 20:21:03 GMT Organization: Hewlett-Packard CCG-PWD, UK. Lines: 13 Can anyone tell me how to access specific hardware memory from protected mode Windows? I know that it's done through special selectors or something, and that they're exported by KERNEL.EXE. eg an MDA card's memory can be accessed at B000:0000 through KERNEL export #181: __B000H. It dowsn't seem to be a function which returns a pointer to memory, and simply referencing it as if it was a pointer doesn't work either. any clues??????? martin wink...
