I am running a tektronix 4317 with 4 bit plains. When X11R4 came out there
was, in the distribution, a server for the Tektronix 4300 series. When I run
this server I get an error saying that the server only supports 1 or 8 bit
plains. Does anyone have a server for a 4317 with 4 bit plains? Does anyone
know what needs to be changed in order to make the distributed server
work with 4 bit plains? Does anyone know where I can find the documentation
(and the time) I need to fix this server or write a new one?
