on the mit x11r4 distribution tapes, there is a program called xtank, which
from perusing the docies, appears to (suprise) be a multiuser tank warfare
game, with a number of interesting features

	-	dynamic loading of executables, representing new types/classes of
		tanks
	-	a lightweight thread scheduler providing fast context switches
		between players
	-	synchronized screen updates across the net

the thread scheduler and dynamic loader are only available for the ibm-rt
and the vax. 

has anyone ported this to a risc/ultrix platform, or to a unix machine for
that matter. attempt at utilizing the rt code results in a "botched longjmp".
working at the port myself, but its slow going.
