Here's my request: in Ethiopian restaurants here in San Diego I have this delicious low-alcohol beverage (Tej) several times. According to the label on the bottle (and the proprietors of the restaurant) it's a type of honey wine. Although I don't have the label information with me at the moment, it seems that one of the better brands was from San Francisco, and had bees on the label. Does anyone have a recipe for/instructions to make this delightful concoction? Tim P Scott Internet: scott@spectra.com {ucsd!}nosc!spectra!scott [perhaps it's just a clarified mead? -aem]
