It has 1 large 40 pin chip made by INTERSIL #429100 (there isn't much else there, but i'll check all the obvious stuff before i get a replacement). Do i have to get it from FLUKE?? Symptoms: o ohms ranges - bounce between infinity and some lower figure (shorted) o voltage (DC) - shows close to 0 with no input, any input causes overrange indication. I just took a quick look in my Digi-Key catalog. Could it simply be a 3 1/2 Digit LCD A/D Converter (ie Harris ICL7106CPL)??
