I realize that this would probably be huge, but I was hoping that something like this existed (similiar to the Rosenfeld bibliographies in BibTeX or maybe the AI database at Carnegie-Mellon.) I'm using features of the Fourier spectrum of ultrasound signals (not images) and back propagation to attempt to classify the signals according to a certain property of the wave medium. I must do a review on supervised learning algorithms and signal processing. Well, I thought that I wouldn't have any trouble with the literature review, but after spending 3 hours in my local library, I've realized that this finding references is not an easy task. (A search on the standard periodical database of my library's holdings only turned up 10 or so references to back propagation!!!). If you have any references to supervised learning and signal processing, please pass them on (I only have a handful). If no such database of neural network references exists, does anyone want to start one? Perhaps we could use some mailing software and have every submit their own in some standard format (cleaned periodically by a human, of course). -- James Darrell McCauley (jdm5548@diamond.tamu.edu, jdm5548@tamagen.bitnet) Spatial Analysis Lab, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas 77843-2117, USA
