Prime offers a multi-segment architecture and it performs quite satisfactorily because it was designed to perform well with segments. Intel could design their architecture more appropriately for segments if they wished (and they have with the IN960XA. If enough people demanded it, you could see a substantial improvement now that they have the extra Silicon available. Ed Feustel Prime Computer
