Ok, you've got a bunch of replies before that but have you checked (with CHKDSK /F) that FAT of your hard disk is still alright? It seems that there's something wrong with it. Maybe cross-linked clusters or something like that. I've (as many others) tried same kind of operations with 4DOS - and without any troubles. Better luck! && Petri
