I (accidentally) got a Best Data 9632XL modem on my desk instead of a 9632X. The 9632X seems to be a `normal' dial-up modem, while the 9632XL is a `leased line' modem. Does anybody know a way to convice the 9632XL to be a dial-up modem ??? It always goes ONLINE as soon as I start the terminal program (no chance to change this), which seems to me to be a normal behaviour for a leased line modem. But I want (and have) to dial to a host first. PLEEZE HELP ME (if you can). Any help (by EMail, please) would be nice. So long ...
