I think that the problem might be the "/.." .
Replace  
  	"y.+/..*x."
by  
      	"y.+/ ..*x."
I think that the parser tries to create "/. ." instead of "/ ..".
I discovered this when trying to multiply two matrices together.
        a+/..*b
would not work, but
        a+/ ..*b
did work.
