Could someone point me to a PD implementation in relatively portable C
for UNIX?  The only one I've seen unexecs itself, which is somewhat
less than portable.  Blinding speed is not a big issue, ease of
getting it running is more important.

Feel free to respond via email if this has been done to death in this
newsgroup.
