I would like to have a list of existing functional programming
languages.  Has anybody such a list?  (The request sounds like
a typical FAQ-topic.)

If such a list doesn't already exist, I'd be willing to compile
one.

For each language I would like to have its name, the year of
its "invention", a pointer to its defining reference document,
a short abstract (with a characterization of the language, its
origins...), and pointers to known implementations.
