Marlboro MA, USA Lines: 26 (New to sendmail, RTFM, confused, need help.) I want one of our local hosts to receive all UUCP mail for our site that is undeliverable (i.e. where foo!user and foo is _not_ a local uucp host.) This local uucp gateway should be reachable by both uucp and smtp (i.e. smtp if the system has it otherwise uucp) and then, (this is where I get confused) our local uucp gateway should ship out undeliverable uucp mail to _its_ uucp gateway. (i.e. foo!user becomes remote!foo!user and gets sent to remote.) The only thing that comes close in the configuration files just wants to use smtp to route the stuff locally to some other host that apparantly knows how to stick a remote host in front of foo!user. And on another subject, our System V uucp hosts send our SMTP mailers mail that has headers like "apparently-to:" instead of "to:". Is this a known problem with SV mailers? Any insights would help. -- -Mark Roddy Sequoia Systems, Inc. (508) 480-0800 x1284 markr@seqp4.uucp m2c!seqp4!markr
