It is part of PC/Tools, and I have backed up large files across multiple volumes before. Problem is, your site at the other end will need the PC Backup to read and uncompress the files. For what you get, though, PC/Tools is money well spent. Besides the disk compression and backup, you get a nice DOS shell, undelete, unformat, and a few ways to recover from disk problems.
