According to the Programmer's Reference, it should be possible to allocate
shared memory in OS2 2.0 in a decommitted state, then commit and decommit
as necessary -- just like other memory.  From experimentation, it does
not appear to be possible to decommit shared memory.  Can anyone shed some
light on this?
