Information Services. Lines: 21 I Have installed a RU-CAP2 recently on my SUN sparc IPC running SUN OS 4.1.0 with eight FP/4 running K-start 8.0.1. I can spool from my IPC to Laserwriters on Appletalk with no problem. However, I have a problem with an Appleshare (Aufs) part of the CAP. The SUN sits on an appletalk zone called 'systems Network'. If a mac on the same zone (Systems Network) mounts the SUN disk, it works fine. But it a mac on other zones try to mounts the SUN disk, it mounts and works fine for a few minutes and then the mac gets a message "Granite Aufs in Systems N ...' file server has closed down [10:17 am on 3/11/91]". This is the end of this connection from the mac. Aufs log says - server timeout on session 0 pid 13419, not talking to remote anymore - superior told us to shutdown probably tickle time out. Does anyone know why this happens ? ======================================================== Kenji Ogura kogura@ub.d.umn.edu (218)722-2641 ========================================================
