If not, would some kind soul please advice otherwise. What is UUENCODE? What is NETDATA format? I am a user of BITNET. I dial up to a VM host from a PC. These two terms have stumped me when I try to FTP files, binary & ASCII, on SIMTEL20.ARMY.MIL to my PC. I understand that it has something to do with my VM host being an EBCDIC machine and also not capable of receiving 8 bit data. Thanks.
