Ok, I investigated some more. The receive length fields look perfectly fine, as compared to the 3c501 pd. I tried cu tcp 2.2D and that WORKS FINE. It also works with the Packet Driver version of Netwatch. And the University of Minnesota POPmail/PC package V 2.0. :-( Now I'm confused.
