/rdb is a commercial product sold by RSW, Inc. (408) 429-6229.
There is an article in the 3/91 issue of UnixReview which describes
it.  Big surprise, it's written by the owner...

That said, from the article, it seems that it should be inexepensive,
simple, but powerful for the experienced shell programmer.
