I'd like to install a version of syslog on our Ultrix machines that
is a little more uptodate.

The version on Ultrix does not appear to support the "facility"
parameter. So for example, I cannot direct syslog messages of a given
priority from different processes to different files. 

Does anyone have any advice?  (Ftp access is awkward for us, uucp or
mail would be prefered).
