  	I am using Music-X with (or at least trying to) with an Ensoniq
ESQ 1 synth.  I have a goldenhawk midi interface and I've got the midi
cables going in and out in the manner described in the Music-X manual.
Obviously, I'm not well versed in Midi stuff.  I can't figure out what
protocol to use.  I tried using the generic and it says 'the device is
not responding'.  I'm pretty much clueless...  Has anyone used this
setup?  I realized this is not a midi group but any help would be very
much appreciated.  I have a music project I have get done soon.  Thanks
