This starts VLT up without a screen (-b) and then executes the window command changing the position to 12 pixels down with a size of 430 by 175 pixels, which should give you roughly the 80 characters by 20 lines in the tiny font. It assumes you have already set VLT to be on the Workbench. You can also use -b +c=window 0 12 430 175; activate v as tooltypes when you start VLT from its icon. (5.034 and later).
