Anybody who tells you that it will take $200 to fix an internal drive
(Either Apple or Laser) is nuts. Especially if it can read something. If it
was totally dead (i.e. can't read at all) it could probably be fix for $35
or so. I know, I used to fix them. There are Coffee pot with more brains
than a Apple disk drive. Find a competant computer technician, Like me.
