I can't really get into specifics, but I do know that there indeed may be some
validity to the statement that the Video Toaster will become available for the
TT.  I don't wish to become involved in a discussion about the technical
matters involved in such a conversion (they seem to have been discussed
thoroughly), but from being in contact with someone with an interest in the
matter, I know that it has been _seriously_ considered.

The guy involved in all this wanted me to tell you that "an official reply
will be coming shortly."

Until then--don't write off the possibility quite yet.
