Well, the disk I found lurking at the back of my collection, which I had played with a few years back and never got round to using seriously, was called 'PCBoard Designer'. The sum total of information on the disk is this: (c) DATA BECKER (c) Abacus Software Authors: Florian Sachse & Stefan Busch Release notes dated 22/7/86 I have a suspicion that the disk I have is a demo (I have no idea where it came from), as the number of components is limited to 14 and there are 101 bugs (like it trying to print the design to the screen instead of to the printer port !). Basically it is unusable in its present form, but a working version would be great, as it is easy to use and not too technical (no good for any professional applications, but perfect for the hobbyist who wants to make reasonable PCBs) Has anyone got any more info on the authors/publishers or on the state of the software (or any other PCB designers) ?
