Async here means asynchronous. A good and affordable example here is the laser from OKI. It is small and quite good in many other ways too. If you want to use a laser with Spectre and generally with ST, there is a vey good HP LaserJet emulation software (an INIT) for using SLM 804 under Spectre. It works perfectly well. This can be purchased from Fearn & Music, Germany. They sell lots of good Mac & Spetre stuff. If you want their address and numbers, just leave me a message.
