Hot memory? Message-ID: <5115@mindlink.UUCP> Date: 12 Mar 91 10:42:40 GMT Organization: MIND LINK! - British Columbia, Canada Lines: 9 I have an older (purchased in 1986) ST with tos 1.0. It has an easieST memory expansion board installed with 2mb for a total of 2.5 mb of memory. Recently, when the machine is warm -- on for at least 1 1/2 hours -- it locks up. Narrow vertical lines appear on the screen as do eleven bombs. If I can successfully reboot I often get a machine with only 1/2 mb of memory available. I had the connections to expansion board soldered in. That has improved but not completely solved the problem; the same thing happens, but less often and the computer can be on longer before it happens. Any ideas? Anybody else ever have some thing like this happen to them? Much thanks in advance!!!
