(The HP 48SX has a very nice convert-to-fraction, but not normal, CASIO-style bare-bones fraction entry and display). But it seems to have a bug. When flag 8 is set, and flag 9 cleared, and then some denominator is set using the /c function, then the displayed fractions are always supposed to have that denominator or some factor thereof. So why does 2/3 show as 2/3 when you set /c to 4? 3 isn't a factor of 4. Also try: SF 8, CF 9, 5 /c, 1..2, ENTER. See 1/2; but 2 isn't a factor of 5. Ditto for 7 /c, 1..3; see 1/3. Is this a bug, a feature, or a misunderstanding on my part? -- Joseph K. Horn -- Peripheral Vision, Ltd. --
