I am considering the purchase of an IBM 286 clone, and would appreciate
any information on the following items:

* The clone I am considering has a VIP 286 motherboard that runs the
  AMI BIOS.  Would like any history on these types of motherboards.

* VGA Paperwhite Monitors - I am considering a RELISYS URD 139.
  Are these a good option for text editing, and general high
  resolution applications where color isn't a prerequisite.
  Any recommendations on VGA Paperwhite Monitors.

* Packard Bell 286 Clones

* Any recommendations on cheap internal 2400 Baud modems, or
  ones to stay away from.
