Keywords: Novell, modem, conflict Message-ID: <18206@milton.u.washington.edu> Date: 11 Mar 91 23:59:27 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: University of Washington, Seattle Lines: 12 Has anyone had experiencing working through conflicts between internal modems and Novell Netware? One of our 386 machines can only use the internal dial-up modem before logging into Netware (V. 2.12). After login, any dialup session will usually connect OK, but all hardware freezes within the first minute of the session. The NIC uses IRQ=3 (a bad choice, but I can't change that right now), and the internal modem uses COM1 and IRQ=4. Any advice from battle-scarred veterans of this particular struggle will be greatly appreciated!!
