I haven't noticed a high resolution graphics display controller with a geometry generator optimized toward 3-D vector performance available on a Mac either - but that doesn't stop anyone from making nice presentation graphics on it. As for "doing more than Windows will do" - this is a pretty vague statement. I'm confident that there are more specialized hardware options and software programs available for PC's then there are for Macs. This is simply the nature of the "open-ness" of the architecture.
