The manual says to return it in this case (so, it is a confirmed failure!) I guess it takes several years for that to happen. If I were you, I'd get a composite small tv screen, connect it to the RGB output. (Yes, it is possible to connect composite monitor to rgb!) I assume it's possible to turn off the internal screen with yours? Regards, -turgut
