I started out trying a copy of Dollars & Sense but ended up buying MacMoney because of the price difference and support. There were a number of features of the interfaces that I felt were handled much better in Dollars & Sense, enough so that I ended up purchasing a copy of D&S 5.0 when it finally came out. The major differences that convinced me to change to D&S were: o The ability to modify ALL aspects of existing accounts including the starting balance, account type and individual entries. o The data entry interface for D&S is cleaner and more intuitive. o The account hierarchy is clearer and easier to set up. DISCLAIMER I have absolutely NO relationship however tenuous with Survivor Software, Monogram, or Software Toolworks nor with the developers of MacMoney and Dollars & Sense.
