He has purchased a hayes compatible modem and is attempting to use Red Ryder comm software. I have hooked everything up for him and reviewed the connections several times. The problem is that when I try to dial out, nothing happens! The phone doesnt make the dial sound (I can hear the dial tone, but no dialing). The software doesnt seem to be getting to the phone.
