I've had this question more than 3 times, so I'm posting the answer here.

Several people write:

Netnews Reader 1.2.1 stack is available at apple.apple.com (130.43.2.2) in 
pub/dts/mac/stacks/mactcp-toolkit-1-0.hqx. It's part of the toolkit.

Netnews reader is a HyperCard 1.x stack. If you are using HyperCard 2.x, 
use the "Convert Stack" command in the File menu to convert it to 2.0 
format. In usage, a couple of minor script errors will be brought to your 
attention (mismatched quotes, etc.); fix them as you find them.
