To answer a couple of messages at once: This information I was talking about is in the Maxis are on America Online in the 'Bulletin Board' (Forum, ect.) (Keyword: Maxis). This info is spread out over a series of messages. Putting it together and sending it to Sumex might not be a bad idea. As to getting onto America Online: America Online really started full-swing about year, and has been growing _very_ fast. It uses it's own front-end interface (which is well done, by the way), which provides the uniqueness to this service. A regular communications program will not work, I've already tried. AO makes connections through Telenet or Tymnet, and there is a local node just about everywhere. The software, when first run, sets up itself to find the nearist node. So, to get on, you need to get the software, which is provided FREE by America Online if you call them at 1-800-227-6264 between noon and 3am EST. They have a friend referral program, and if you say you were referred by LM ORNER, I'd get a free hour for getting you on, and I'd be very greatfull. In the meantime, have fun. -- Lance Orner (lorner @ ecst.csuchico.edu) ------------------------------------- California State Univ., Chico | ------------------------------------------- Don't worry -- God thinks that it's a joke.
