I _strongly_ suggest you look at VGA monitors before you make the decision. I am in the same boat; I don't want to pay $650 for the 13" RGB, and though the 12"RGB looks better than I thought it might, I am concerned about compatibility problems. No well-written program will assume a specific monitor, excepting, of course, specialized applications. But, that's not much of a consolation!
