We've experienced no software compatiblity problems re. the 12" RGB monitor. Some comments about this device: 1) The pixels are noticably larger than most Mac monitors (64 vs 72 dpi), so everything seems magnified at first, though this perception disappears after a while. 2) It's definitely not as crystallinely sharp as the 13" RGB, but I don't find it to be objectionably fuzzy. 3) The screen area is only 512x384 pixels, which is not much larger than the classic 9" screen (512x342), and substantially smaller than the 13" RGB (640x480). 4) The unit itself is much smaller and lighter than the gargantuan 13", which may be an advantage. Also, the case is sculpted to sit on top of the LC (and IIsi) and "look right", while that of the 13" RGB is not. -- John Cavallino | EMail: jcav@midway.uchicago.edu University of Chicago Hospitals | USMail: 5841 S.
