I have just such an SE-30 on my desktop (well, it kept doing that off and on until earlier this week) and I noticed that wiggling a certain cable inside the Mac seems to make the problem go away - though if it stays away is an open question still. So, the recommended procedure (according to my experience) is to open up your SE-30 and wiggle the cables (in my case it seems that the power cable to the hard disk needed to be bent away from the cage of the power-supply ....
