uses the machine for music (MIDI among other stuff). He was on the verge of
getting a PC compatible when Apple released this new machine and he says
that it is very price competitive with PC portables that are slightly
less powerful. Apparently, the battery life is 1 1/2 to 2 times that of
all the PC portable he looked at (5 hours vs 3 for PCs)
