I have 2 mac related questions.

1: Aside from bidirectional printing and appearance and mechanical
internals, What's the difference between the imagewriter I and II.
Will they both run correctly with the same imagewriter printer driver 
software?  I know the ports are different on the printers, I am more 
concerned with the diferences in software compatibility.  In other
words, what would the effects be of swapping my imagewriter II with
an imagewriter I? (Don't say its a dumb thing to do, I'm just curious)

2: Are the serial ports in the old (128 and 512) macs different than the
ones on my 512KE.  They both look the same, but do the pins have a 
different ordering, or can they supply power to devices on one but not
the other?
