I had just installed Suitcase II and set it to access some of my favorite fonts; then I tried out how it worked from the home stack and was able to open applications--but only one time apiece. I thought everything was fine, but the next time I tried each application a dialog box appeared telling me that the application was busy or damaged. The applications still open normally by themselves, as do documents created with them. I have exhausted my list of things to try--trashing and recopying (System, Finder, DAhandler, Hypercard, Home, various applications,...), removing Suitcase II, checking for viruses (nothing in the Gatekeeper v 1.1.1 Log file, scanning with both VirusDetective 4.0.3, and Disinfectant 1.8--the Disinfectant 2.4 that I recived today says its infected and won't work, rebuilding the Desktop, and other smaller strategies.) Can anyone suggest something else I might try? I would be grateful for some advice. Catherine Dentan -- C. M.
