Subject: How to program a Transfer... menu ala Edit (old MDS version)

How does one transfer control (with or without Multifinder) from the
running homegrown app to another standard app such as Word by using
a transfer pull-down menu such as that found in Turbo Pascal or Consulair's
Edit (linker or ASM transfer provided thus bypassing Finder).

If anyone has some suggestion about doing this (under sys 6.0.x or sys 7.0)
please let me know.  If you have any tidbits of code, you will save me the
time of re-inventing the wheel.
