The bottom (or next to the bottom) line as far as Apple copying someone
else is, if nobody takes Apple to court...Apple hasn't got a problem, they
have a legitimate copyright on software. A copyright yhey've held for many
years undisputed. It's kind of like the old phrase "It wasn't fattening if
no one saw you eat it" :)
