The only thing missing from mine was the tool also. But if it wasn't I still wouldn't be too upset because the documentation that comes with the machine (printed that is) is minimal anyway. I don't think so either. My optical media went south on me (ECC errors). I called B'Land, they told me to pick up a new floptical. When I did they did not want the old one.
