As much as I like to have the 030 and the 040 running in my Cube, there is
one more factor to consider:

NeXT has taken a big step in after-sales support by allowing owners of older
systems (030 Cubes) to upgrade to the new system board (040) at a very
affordable and what I consider to be very reasonable price ... in exchange
for the return of the old system board (prepaid!).

Are we prepared to take this good will for granted and possibly ruin any
chance of future upgrade plans from NeXT by keeping the 030 system board?

I am by no mean condemning those who choose to try out the "dual processor"
NeXT idea. I am still contemplating it myself ...
