I've heard from a few folks that my recent posting is being read as
mean-spirited. Wasn't meant to be so. I intended to respond with humor
and a few in-jokes to Al's post. It misfired, and apparently hurt feelings
of folks I retain a hell of a lot of respect for. My apologies, guys.
